| Kate Cheney Chappell |
Kate Cheney Chappell is Co-founder and Vice President of Tom’s of Maine and has been involved in all aspects of the business with an emphasis on new product development. She led the development of the first natural baking soda toothpaste, shaped a responsive consumer relations program, and championed family-friendly benefits and policies.
Kate attended Chatham College, Sarah Lawrence College, the Sorbonne, and the University of Southern Maine, where she received her B.A. in Communications in 1983 and a Distinguished Service Award in 1994. While at Harvard University as a Teaching Fellow with Dr. Robert Coles in 1996 and 1997, she received the Certificate for Distinction in Teaching.
Kate is a professional artist and writer, and in recent years has been able to devote more time to these pursuits, mounting a 75-piece one-person show in 2003. The show was singled out as the feature review for Maine in Art New England, noting her "cerebral and challenging art, her prowess as a printmaker [and] her willingness to take esthetic risks." (Carl Little, Art New England, February/March 2004) . Kate is the mother of five children and lives in Kennebunk with her husband and youngest son, Luke. |

| Eileen M. Conlon, Ed.D |
Eileen M. Conlon, Ed.D is Principal in Conlon Consulting Group
of Wells. She specializes in organization development and diversity
training. Eileen is deeply committed to creating healthy workplaces
where productivity and personal fulfillment go hand-in-hand. Her
current interests include strategic planning using large system
processes, organization development using traditional and appreciative
approaches, assisting organizations in developing and implementing
diversity plans and team-building in all-female work groups.
Eileen has a doctorate in Organization Development from the
University of Massachusetts where her research focused on approaches
being used in organizations to understand and manage diversity.
She is adjunct faculty with the University of New England in
their Organizational Leadership Program and was recently appointed
to the Maine Commission for Community Service.

| Laura F. Montville |
Laura F. Montville is an executive coach and organization development
consultant whose work focuses on visioning and integrating strategic
change for individuals and organizations. She specializes in leadership
development, executive coaching and transition and best practices
for hiring and retaining employees. Most rewarding for her is her
work coaching executives and delivering workshops with a focus on
reflection and values-based leadership.
Montville holds an M.S. in Organization Development from Pepperdine
University and a B.S. in Business Administration from The Whittemore
School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire.
She also completed the Entrepreneurial Management Program at
Babson College. In addition she has completed coursework and
training in
executive coaching through Coach University and The Coaches Training
Institute. She is a qualified administrator of the Myers Briggs
Type Indicator.
Previous to her consulting practice she owned a staffing and
human resource consulting company for over 15 years. Montville
lives in
Portsmouth, New Hampshire and is a Registered Maine Guide for
Sea Kayaking in Portland, Maine. |

| Mark Murray |
Mark Murray has over twenty years of experience in Training and Consulting. Along with the last three years of working with Saltwater, he has worked with a number of other companies including Eastman Kodak Company, BMW, Hasbro, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Physicians for Human Rights. His experience in this work led him to co-author a book Immersion, An Adventure Approach to Training and Consulting.
His areas of expertise include Designing and Delivering Performance Coaching, Values Integration, Team Development, and Partnering Workshops. Mark also integrates a variety of Instrumented Learning Tools in his work. His work with Saltwater has included delivering a number of Seven Intentions® Workshops, as well as designing and delivering a custom Assess Workshop for Tom’s of Maine.
Mark resides in Dayton, Maine with his wife Donna and his five year old daughter Skye. |

| Pearl B. Rutledge, Ph.D, Workshop Design Consultant |
Pearl is Director of R&R Associates for Human Resource
Development, a consulting firm which conducts training for organizations.
She is a consultant with the American Management Association and,
while on the faculty at Pace University, she developed courses
in Organizational Development, Group Relations and Psychology of
Personal Development. She has been a trainer and consultant for
eighteen years working with companies such as IBM, General Foods,
M&M Mars, Gillette and Hanover Brands.
Dr. Rutledge obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky
and is currently licensed as a psychologist by the Kentucky Board
of Psychology and is a member of the American Psychological Association.
She is listed in the 1979-1980 Who’s Who in the East.

Theresa M. Szczurek, President and CEO of Technology Management
Solutions, helps others succeed by creatively connecting their
passion, purpose and principles with prosperity. She reenergizes
established and emerging organizations as well as economic development
enterprises through worldwide marketing, strategic planning and
organization development programs that produce positive results.
A relentlessly determined entrepreneur, she co-founded, built and
then sold Radish Communications Systems for over $40 million –
a company that increased the efficiency and value of telephone
computer
transactions. She has a M.S. in Operations Research from Stanford
University and a M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Business Administration from
the University of Colorado. She is a certified organization development
consultant in the areas of personal development, small group facilitation,
and manager as change agent by Associated Consultants International.
Theresa, a member with Tom Chappell of the original group of business
leaders who founded Saltwater, has facilitated The Seven Intentions® programs
since Saltwater's inception.
Theresa is a highly awarded speaker, facilitator, published author
and researcher. Her forthcoming book, based on extensive original
research, is Pursuit of Passionate Purpose: Success Strategies
for a Rewarding Life (Wiley, 2005). She lives in Boulder Colorado
with her daughter and husband. |
