Director of Administration

Crystal joined The Saltwater Institute in November 2000 as the first full-time employee and was instrumental in establishing Saltwater’s offices in Portland, Maine. As Director of Administration, she manages all aspects of program planning and facilitator scheduling while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the organization. She also works with the curriculum development team on the design of new training materials.

She graduated from Worcester State College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her management experience includes staff supervision and training, development of staff and patient educational materials, and administration of office-wide computer systems. Crystal has also worked with medical schools across the United States to provide on line video-streamed lectures for physicians.

She enjoys yoga, reading and spending time with family, friends and her 19 year old cat, Smokey.
